Happy Valentine's Day...a little late

Daddy surprised me and Mommy with flowers on Valentine's Day. He is so sweet to us both. In my card, he wrote a letter to me telling me how much he loved me and explained to me what true love is. He is such a good daddy. He set the bar pretty high. I know I won't remember the flowers or Mommy reading the card to me, but it was a special moment for Daddy and Mommy. Mommy took lots of pictures so she can put it in my scrapbook so one day when I have a boyfriend I can read my note from Daddy and be reminded about true love and my first Valentine's Day. Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's. We love you!!!

Daddy's Birthday Celebration Continues

We had a great visit with Papa G and Grandma G. They were here from Wednesday night til Monday morning. Ms. Debbie from church made my Daddy a "fishin" cake. We all enjoyed that. Mommy took Daddy on a date Friday night. I spent the night with Papa and Grandma. We had a fun time. I am doing pretty good. My doctor's appointment last Wednesday went well. I weighed in at 18 lbs 14 oz. I am getting to be quite the big girl!! I am cutting some new teeth so right now Mommy is my favorite person. I don't let her get very far from me. I am getting 4 new teeth on the top. We have been having some great weather. I even got to go for a "walk" in my stroller a few days last week. I hope all my "fans" are doing good and we will talk more soon.

"Happy Birthday Daddy"

Saturday was my Daddy's birthday. We had a great day! We went to breakfast, which is one of Daddy's favorite things to do. Then, we shopped a little, took a nap, and had a wonderful dinner. Daddy said he had a fun time "just being with his girls." I am still working on how to learn to crawl. I just can't figure it out. I am going backwards real well. Now if I can only figure out how to go frontwards we will be in good shape. I have a busy week this week. Today I am 9 months old--Happy Birthday to me!! Wednesday I go to the doctor and get more of those horrible shots. Wednesday night, though, good things will happen. Papa G and Grandma G are coming to see me! I always love it when they come. I get LOTS of attention. They love seeing all my new tricks. They are going to stay the weekend. So, we are all very excited about that. We are glad Papa G feels up to the trip.
