Our little pumpkin turned 2 on May 2. We had a small party at her favorite park here in town and invited a few of her friends she plays with on a regular basis. We had such a fun time. We had cake, ice cream, a pinata, and of course lots of laughs. She got lots of presents (which she loved). She is still talking about her birthday. It was a fun day for all of us. Here are a few pictures:

We have been super busy. David's dad started having serious complications with his cancer that had spread to his spine in early March. Dave went and spent the week with them while Addie and I were in Nashville seeing my side of the family. After being in the hospital/nursing home with hospice for a little over a week, Galen went to be with the Lord on Sunday April 4th, 2010. Easter will now have a deeper meaning for all of us in the future. Thanks to everyone for your prayers, cards, calls and concern for us. He is greatly missed, but we feel very blessed because our life was better for knowing, loving and being loved by him.
.As so life does go on........We are starting to get back into the swing of things. We are both back to work. Addie has few more weeks of Kindermusik before the summer break. When I am off, we are spending lots of time outside. We have zoo passes this year so we go to the zoo frequently. Her favorite animal is Vincent, the sea lion. She also loves feeding the deer and the fish. We take lots of trips on the train, tram, and carousel. My parents are coming the week before Memorial Day to spend some time with us and we are meeting my entire family in St. Louis for Memorial Day weekend. Corine is coming for a visit in mid-June so we are looking forward to that.
So there is an update on our little family!

Loved to updates and the picture of Addie and David's dad literally brought tears to my eyes from it's sweetness. You are all still in our prayers.

Thank you for continuing to update us with your lives and photos. Mom and I are so saddened to hear about Galen's passing. Marla, my Dad died of a heart attack at age 49 in 1979 and as I shared with Dave, we never forget how it felt to have their unconditional love poured into our lives. We are both still blessed to have our Moms living. Please give Corine hugs from us when she visits mid June. Keeping you in our hearts and prayers. Big birthday hugs for Addie too. Hi Lil Bro Dave & Marla,
Wanting to see the sweet photos again of Addie turning 2. June 4 my brother Randy had a grand mal seisure on the night of one of his music gigs. He has had a brain biopsy that was confirmed cancerous tumor in his left temporal which is language and music! We see the oncologist next. Thinking of all you went through with Galen. Love every day we have together! We love you, Sis, Lori, Mom and Bro Randy
