a HUGE praise

She was so funny with her birthday hat. She figured out that is was linked to LOTS of attention when she wore it. She wouldn't even take it off. She enjoyed the attention. We even wore it to church on Sunday. After church, I told her to tell the crown "bye-bye" and that we would see it again next year!!!

We have been busy this week. Addie had a great birthday last Saturday. She is teething so we didn't do a lot, but we did swing on go on a couple of walks. That night we went to dinner with some friends from church to Chili's and they brought her a birthday cake and ice cream out. She was pretty excited about that.
Monday we had her 1 year old check-up with Dr. Beck. She weighed 19 lbs and 15 oz. She got a good report. We are now working on taking the bottle away. She hasn't quite decided yet if she likes milk or not. Hopefully, she will decide it is pretty good soon. Then, on Tuesday we went back to the cardiologist. Most of you will remember when she was born she had a heart murmur that was caused by a small hole in her heart. She had an ultrasound of her heart yesterday and the hole has closed!!! To GOD be the glory!! That is an answered prayer. She does have what is called and "innocent" murmur. He said it has probably been there since she was born but the other one was so loud we couldn't hear this one. But it is innocent, so another praise. We will not longer be followed by a cardiologist.
We hope everyone is doing well. We are enjoying the nice spring weather we have been having in MO. Addie is loving her swing Pop built her and we can't wait til it gets warm enough to get in the pool Papa G and Grandma G gave her!!
